South Sudan Bible School

The major thrust of The Sudan Project is our Bible school campus located in Pajok, South Sudan. The on-site Bible school staff includes three full-time paid native Bible teachers, who spend eight hours a day teaching the Bible to around 20 men per session, plus a support staff of six. Two sessions of three and one half months each are held annually.

Upon graduation, these men are knowledgeable and evangelistic gospel preachers who often start congregations in their home and nearby villages. The school's graduates are being well trained biblically to establish and preach for churches that will be strong and independent without American support.

On weekends, teachers and students stay busy working together to start and preach for new congregations. The men who prove themselves to be good evangelists and leaders in the church after graduation are invited back later for a second and third session of even deeper Bible study.
